These fast and easy protein balls are a great portable snack if you are on the go. Perfect for before or after a workout or an afternoon pick-me-up. You can modify them by using a different type of nut butter or leaving out the chocolate chips if you prefer.
-1 cup creamy salted almond butter (or peanut butter)
-1/3 cup pure maple syrup
-1/2 cup coconut flour
-1/4 cup mini dark chocolate chips (optional)
Directions: Combine the first three ingredients in a bowl and whisk or stir until well-combined. Stir in chocolate chips (if using). Put the bowl in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
